For clients with email hosting, you will need to setup an email account in your mail program. This page explains how to do this for Microsoft Outlook. Other mail programs will have different procedures but the basic principle and key settings will be the same.

Open Microsoft Outlook, then click the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts
This will bring up a new window, select 'add a new e-mail account' and click the 'Next' button
On the next screen, click the 'Add' button
On the next screen, select 'POP3' and click the 'Next' button
On the next screen, enter the folowing details: (but do not click 'Next')
- Name : Your name (eg Fred Smith)
- E-Mail Address : as given to you (eg fred@smith.co.uk)
- Incoming Mail Server (POP3) : as notified by Solnet - normally relaygate.solnet.co.uk or argomail.solnet.co.uk
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : as notified by Solnet - normally relaygate.solnet.co.uk or argomail.solnet.co.uk
- Login Information : User Name : your full email address again (eg fred@smith.co.uk)
- Login Information : Password : as given to you
Now click the 'More Settings button'
On the next screen, select 'My outgoing server requires authentication'. Use same settings as my incoming server should also be ticked (default). Then click the 'OK' button
You will return to the previous screen, you can now click 'Next'
Then click 'Finish'
Try your mail settings by clicking the 'send and receive' button.
