Because the Solnet spam filter can never be 100% accurate, you should still quickly look through the spam folder before deleting anything.
To make sure that regular emails from your friends aren't accidentaly moved to the spam folder, you can setup another filter with a higher priority, within Outlook Express. To set up this filter, again click the Tools menu and select Message Rules, then Mail.
This will bring up the Message Rules window.
Click New to bring up the New Mail Rule window.
Under Conditions, check Where the From line contains people.
Under Actions, check Stop processing more rules.
Change the Name of the rule to Bypass spam filter.
Click the underlined contains people in the Description box. This will bring up the Select People window.
Enter the email of the address you want to bypass the spam filter and click Add. You can do this for as many addresses as needed.
When all the addresses have been added, click Ok to return to the New Mail Rule window. Click Ok again to return to the Message Rules window.
The Bypass spam filter needs to be above the Spam filter in the rule list. If it isn't, click it, then click Move Up.
Thats it, now any address set within the Bypass spam filter rule will never be moved into the spam folder, but will still have [SPAM] in the message subject.
If you should wish to add more addresses to the bypass list, simply click the Bypass spam filter, then click contains 'xxx@xxx.xxx' and add the address in the previously described way.
